STRONG START IN LONATO: NOVALUX RACING TEAM TAKES OK-N PODIUM

Novalux Racing Team secured an important P2 finish in OK-N at the opening round of the Italian Championship, held in Lonato at the South Garda Karting circuit.

Juliusz Ociepa was a key figure throughout the weekend. He qualified P3 in his group, immediately showing strong pace, and confirmed it in the heats with consistent results (P2, P4, P3, P1), including winning one of the races. Carrying this performance into the Final, he crossed the line in P3 on track and was later promoted to P2 following a penalty to another driver. A complete and consistent weekend that placed him among the main contenders from start to finish.

In Mini U10, Jake Jordan Micallef showed strong performance early on, qualifying inside the top 10 and securing P10 finishes in the heats. Unfortunately, a complicated prefinal affected his chances, forcing him to start the Final from further back. He recovered positions to finish P22, in a weekend that still reflected his competitiveness and potential.

Antonio Campo also competed in OK-N, showing a positive progression throughout the event. He found good rhythm in the heats, including a P15 finish, and continued improving in a very demanding field. Despite the effort, he did not reach the Final, but the overall performance was encouraging.

In OK-NJ, Antoni Ociepa came close to qualifying for the Final after solid performances in the heats, just missing out on a place in the decisive race. Lorenzo Sciacca also showed competitive pace during the weekend, although he remained further from the qualifying positions and did not advance.

In Mini Group 3, Nino Lenzo made his debut in the Italian Championship, gaining valuable experience at South Garda Karting.

Toscano returned to KZ2, continuing his transition back into the category after his recent participation in the WSK Euro Series. He showed promising pace over the weekend, taking an important step as Novalux continues to build its presence in KZ2.

Overall, a positive start to the Italian Championship for Novalux Racing Team, highlighted by a podium finish in OK-N and solid work across all categories.
