Round 2 of the Italian Championship delivered another positive weekend for Novalux Racing Team, with competitive performances across multiple categories and a strong points haul in one of the most demanding events of the season.

Following a promising opening round in Lonato, Novalux Racing Team headed to La Conca Circuit for the second meeting of the Italian Championship, facing large grids and intense competition across all categories.

The team’s strongest result came in OK-N, where Juliusz Ociepa continued his impressive start to the season. Consistently among the frontrunners, Ociepa finished P4 in all heats before claiming victory in one of the prefinals. Starting the Final from fifth on the grid, he remained in contention for the podium throughout the race and eventually crossed the finish line in P4.

The result allows Ociepa to leave La Conca sitting third in the championship standings, keeping him firmly in the fight near the top of the table after two rounds.

In OK-NJ, Novalux Racing Team fielded three drivers. The weekend marked the return of Konrad Karjus, who was back in competition after recovering from a clavicle injury sustained earlier in the season. The Estonian driver adapted quickly to the category, qualifying P8 in his group and missing out on a place in the Final by only a small margin.

Meanwhile, Antoni Ociepa enjoyed a positive weekend, qualifying P7 in his group before advancing to the Final. Starting from P20 on the grid, he moved forward through the field to secure P15 at the checkered flag.

Lorenzo Sciacca completed the team’s OK-NJ line-up, continuing to gain experience in a highly competitive field.

Novalux Racing Team was also represented in Mini Group 3 by Nino Lenzo and Bruno Manassero. For Manassero, who travelled from Argentina, the event marked his first racing experience in Europe. Lenzo showed determination in the Prefinal, gaining five positions to finish P18 and coming close to securing a place in the Final.

In Mini U10, Jake Jordan Micallef once again demonstrated strong pace throughout the weekend. After recording heat results of P10, P8 and P11, he secured P8 in the Prefinal. Starting the Final from P16, Micallef delivered a strong recovery drive to finish P13, continuing his solid progression in the category.

The team also competed in KZ2 with Maltese driver Salvatore Toscano. After qualifying P14 in his group, Toscano recorded heat finishes of P14, P16 and P21, before finishing P15 in the Prefinal. He went on to secure a place in the Final, where he crossed the line in P23.

With Round 2 now complete, Novalux Racing Team leaves La Conca with valuable championship points, encouraging performances across all categories and strong momentum heading into the next stage of the 2026 Italian Championship.

The team now turns its attention to the next round, aiming to continue building on a promising start to the season.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
